the Amorós Awards want to claim the research carried out in the field Sciences Physical Activity and Sports. The intention is to encourage, recognize and highlight the intellectual effort made, in these sciences, by researchers and students in the realization of scientific articles, doctoral thesis, final master’s degree projects and final degree projects. The intention is to improve the quality of their study and help achieve greater understanding, presence, image and, consequently, notoriety.
In November 2019, the third call for the 2020 Amorós Awards was opened. Upon closing the call, the acceptance was unequal, National Article was about to leave and Iberoamerican Article had the necessary inscriptions.
Behind the evaluation of the Scientific Committee of the articles presented and published in iberoamerican journals, they met to the winners. He obtained the first prize and a bust of Amorós in bronze, Manuel Alonso dos Santos; the second prize got Diego Fernández Lázaro and the third prize went to Teresa Ontañón Barragán. The awards ceremony was carried out virtually by the coronavirus COVID-19.
In this fourth edition of the awards, organized by the Fundación de Investigación en Ciencias de la Actividad Física y del Deporte, years will be accepted in the modalities and categories in which no prizes have been awarded in previous calls.
In this edition, 45 prizes will be awarded, for a global value of more than 44,000 euros. The call will be open from November 1, 2020 until February 28, 2021, we invite you to inscribe and present your articles, thesis and works.
